Everything our church does is only made possible by the tireless service of people who give their time to create environments where people can connect with God. It is because of this that we would love to find a way for you to join our team.

But frankly, that’s not the only reason.

At The Branch, we believe something that is easy to understand but also pretty counter-cultural. We believe that being a part of something bigger than yourself, by essentially giving yourself away, you’ll find a quality of life that is deep and satisfying. Our church is place where we can come together and form something that is greater than the sum of its parts. We have seen God do incredible things in the lives of people in our church.

Serve Out

When the prophet Jeremiah found himself in a land away from his home, God said, “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” (Jeremiah 29:7) For far too long, many churches have been contented to concern themselves only with their own needs to the detriment of the surrounding community.

Though far from perfect, our church is committed to branching out beyond what happens directly in our midst. In Acts 1:8, we see Jesus gather His first followers in the city of Jerusalem and tell them to concern themselves with Jerusalem (their immediate neighborhood), Judea and Samaria (Their surrounding area), and the end of the earth (you get it).

For us, this means that we do things to care for Jefferson Park, Chicago as whole, and around the nation and world.
